One’s life story is reflected in the shape of one’s ribcage/chest, as well as in movement with each breath. Ribs respond as our record keepers, breast tissue pockets of emotions, the sternum as our guidepost in life. Each moves with every breath we take. The Conception Vessel meridian and 11 of the 12 major organ meridians pass through the chest and/or the breasts. The Bladder meridian passes through the back at the junction of the ribs and spine. Chi Nei Tsang (CNT) is an integral part of exploring one’s relationship to life with the breath and relaxing the ribs/chest for more balance and structural harmony. I am currenly in France helping assist Gilles’ classses and doing an intro class of my own with a translator on May 21 north of Nice. I have had fun with the new students and had a real vacation alone in Paris for 8 days and Geneva for 4 with a dear friend there taking the train. I hiked the French Alps for 2 days to a height of 7500 feet to gaze into Italy and step a foot into Italy as the snow was too deep to descend without skis or snow shows. I look forward to being in the Canary Islands assisting Gilles again and hopefully finding time to jump into the ocean and lay on the beach. I am staying at Gilles’ brothers’ apartment north of Nice and doing treatments there for local folks and the children, Marc and Claudine. |
